Portrayal/Perception of the Disabled Community in the Media
I feel that members of the disabled community are always treated as if their disability is a characteristic in tv and movies, a dominant trait, instead of just being present just as a part of their identity but not being bound to it as a major descriptor. Alternatives to expensive Accessibility measures?
Hey all! The biggest issue I've come across since moving from the Midwest to PA has been old buildings. Some just CANT be made accessible either to old bones, lack of funds for an entire addition to the building, historical protections, or geographical features. What do you think some good ways
