There is a high number of subway stations in NYC that are not accessible to people in wheel chairs or people that have challenges with stairs. I imagine that this issue is particularly upsetting for people who live near the 1 train line (broadway/7th ave). The subway station runs for miles from 103rd street + broadway, without any access for people in wheelchairs until 168th street. This a stretch of over two miles. Even including one elevator in between these stations would make transit easier for those who need better accessibility. - Anonymous Forum Contest Entrant
