Accessibility Notes

  • Staff is friendly, and ready to help however they can. For example, staff can help: open and close any doors, raise and lower any blinds on windows, help provide interpreters, take and swipe credit cards, and bring you juice/water/snacks.

  • There is 1 van accessible space at this location, which is less than 50 feet away from the entrance.

  • There are 2 interview rooms and 2 exam rooms in this location. The 2nd interview room when coming from the waiting room had more space than the 1st interview room, the 1st exam room has more space then the 2nd exam room, and the 2nd exam room is the only exam room with an adjustable-height patient table that goes to an accessible height above the floor in the clinic.

  • It’s possible that the positioning of seatings in the interview and exam rooms might not be ideal for turning space, but staff members are happy to help adjust or remove the chairs/furniture upon request.

  • The 1st interview room and the 2nd exam room when coming from the waiting room have doors with a clear width of about 30” when fully opened, while the door to the 2nd bathroom when coming from the waiting room has a door with a clear width of about 28” when fully opened.

  • The pathway between the 1st exam room and the 2nd exam room when coming from the waiting room has a measuring tool attached to the wall on the right that protrudes 7-8” from the wall at varying heights, and there is a scale in the hallway on the right side as well where the width of the pathway to get past the scale on the left is only 26” wide

  • Most of the patient rooms (interview and exam rooms) have file holders attached to the face of their doors that may be considered a protruding object as entering the room.

  • The surface inside of the location is mostly smooth tile and almost all chairs have seating surfaces at accessible heights.

  • There are 2 bathrooms in the location, the one closer to the waiting is much more accessible and spacious, but the pipes underneath its sink are not completely insulated.

  • There is a counter at an accessible height in the waiting room, and staff members are more than happy to help move the chairs in front of the counter out of the way upon request.

  • There are not high ceilings in this facility, and the sound level is usually low unless there is an event or clinic such as a Covid vaccination clinic.

  • The outside seating area, patient rooms, and staff rooms may be used as quiet spaces if available upon request. The outside seating area would be the least accessible for clients using mobility aids out of these options - the exit door near the exam rooms at the back of the building to get to this area has a 33” clear width when fully opened, but there is a 6” step to get to the wooden patio right after the door with no label, sign, or contrasting tape. The outside patio right outside of this exit door is wooden and is spacious, but to get to the seating area you have to take 5 steps without handrails to get off the patio, and then a path with stepping stones on an uneven ground surface, and then when turning left around the building there will be a non-wheelchair-accessible picnic table in some tall grass.

  • The secondary exit near the exam rooms at the back of the building is marked in several maps inside that identify emergency exits. If possible, we would suggest taking the main exit if trying to optimize accessibility.

  • There is a system for staff members to get interpreters upon request. If you’d like to request an interpreter to be there in-person, we suggest submitting a request for this in advance of your visit.
