  • There is a parking garage less than 100 feet away from Draft Taproom with plenty of accessible spots and an elevator

  • Due to the Charlottesville Downtown Mall, the pathway from the parking to the entrance is a little uneven and bumpy

  • Once your order food, you get a table marker and it is brought to you

  • Drinks (including water) are self-serve and we consider them to be unreachable

  • Trays are available to transport flights of beer

  • You have to pay at the counter at the front before you leave

  • There is one pathway around the taps that is more than 3-feet wide and takes you to the accessible seating and bathrooms

  • This pathway could be a problem if it is busy because there could be a lot of people in the way

  • Some of the other pathways between tables are less than 32 inches wide

  • The seating inside the establishment moves around but it is usually kept in more than one location!

This includes bathrooms being labeled as accessible, the width of bathroom and accessible stall doors, location of doors, height of door openers off the floor, weight of doors, presence of appropriate grab bars, the ability for a customer using a wheelchair to completely turn around in the bathroom/accessible stall, the height of the flush controls off the floor, the reachability of the sink/toilet paper/soap/drying equipment/lights, and the height of mirrors off the floor.

  • The accessible bathroom is very spacious, a customer using a wheelchair could definitely completely turn around with no problem

  • The accessible bathroom has the appropriate grab bars

  • The toilet paper is 9-15 inches from the front of the toilet

  • The mirror is not at an accessible height

  • The bathroom door isn't easy to open
